Μερικές φορές ένα ταξίδι μας καλεί κοντά του, είναι κατασκευασμενο μόνο για μας,απο μέταλλο και βαριά καφετιά ξύλα. ..δεν μπορούμε να αρνηθούμε αυτο το ταξίδι και δε θέλουμε...προχωράμε πεισματικά προς τη δική μας,μοιραία τροχιά.Τα δεινά μας κόβουν σαν κοφτερό μαχαίρι αλλά και παλι το βάδισμα εξακολουθεί να μένει σταθερό και αναλλοίωτο..τίποτα δεν χάνεται και τιποτα δεν πεθαίνει..

Για δες ένα Αυγουστιατικο βράδυ...μικρα φωτάκια σπάνε το σκοτάδι της πόλης.

Confessions of a backpacker : Chania , Crete , Greece

August 2015
There are several great places to visit at and near Chania ,Crete.
Balos ,Seitan port ,Falaserna , Elaphonisos,Klidi, Loutro,Agia Roumeli,Sfakea,Therissos etc.
It's on the traveler's taste what his eye will meet.
Further ,the tastes are far from delicious. It is pure nature!

For the story : The lighthouse of Chania,commonly referred as faros,is one of the oldest lighthouses not only in Greece and the Mediterranean, but also in the world.It is referred to as a "lantern"in a sketch plan of the city of Chania made in 1689 by tbe Venetian cartographer,Vincenzo Coronelli.The lighthouse was first constructed by the Venetians around 1595-1601 and took its final form,in the shape of a minaret,during the Egyptian Period 1831-1841.

Chania totally worth it!Give it a try!
