The designer's love for the wild west made those elements - along with metal steer buckles and fringed Navajo satchels - ubiquitous touches in a collection that was almost entirely cattle-coloured, in white and brown. But the fringed, glittering skirts (worn with hunter's plaid flannel shirts), white lace dresses and crisp colonial white suiting gave the proceedings a distinctly feminine air.
